Gorilla Biscuits

gorillaJust wrapped up this series. I did the last 3 in a matter of weeks and the first one a while back. I guess sometime you just get in the groove.

I hope to silkscreen the series soon. Overall I’m really happy how these turned out and I may go back and make some small tweaks here and there. I took some chances with the color options and enjoyed the outcomes. I find that I’m usually drawn to pastels and complementing dark colors and I feel it worked well on this series.

Here they all are together.

Nice set. Really turned out well. And I just wanted to say two thumbs up on the Im Board 3 show. I had a board in there but wasnt able to attend. Looks like a great turn out and it went smoothly.

I like the polar beat on a black background. for some reason it seemed to fit. it had a very primal feel to it. as for the others, i couldn’t imagine them being any other way. maybe the gorilla in front of a darker gray background>….despite my opinion i do think it is indeed a well done job young sir.

Thanks for all the input guys. Once I get these silkscreened I’ll probably sell them at whichever art show I can get in on, if not I’ll probably put them up on etsy or something like that.
