I just finished this ode to Jim Phillips “Screaming Hand”, a classic skateboard icon. After I designed the Ally Cat King I wanted to play around with redesigning some other classic images and I have always wanted to do something with the Screaming Hand. I’ve seen some other versions of as well, so while this is not truly original I feel I kept Jim’s original aesthetic in tact while giving it my own twist, plus I’ve really wanted to design some puke. I know that may sound weird but I really like drippy, oozy images, so puke seemed fitting.
